How valuable is your time?
One of my greatest mistakes as a new teacher was working too hard at everything. I spent an hour on an email, quadruple-checked purchase requests, and went so far down rabbit holes trying to optimize so much of the non-teaching work I did. I have become so much more effective throughout my career and it’s in part because I have gotten so much lazier!
Some of the solution was doing less. But some of it was also having systems that made life easier. I’ve used, tested, and iterated models for grading ensemble skills, logging practice, and more, and I put in the extra work to make them work off the shelf for you.
